Flip has written a number of books including Dear Jack with Kate Langbroek, six children's books and a cookbook GREEN. After the sell out success of GREEN, Flip is working on another cookbook as well as a children's novel and short film!
Before Flip worked in front of the camera, she worked behind it. For six years she was a publicist at GTV Channel 9. Prior to this she worked in London for a sports marketing firm for three years with clients including the Whitbread Round the World Race. Flip has also run her own publicity business with clients including Jesse Martin, the youngest person to sail solo around the world; Sarah Fitz-Gerald, number 1 squash player (at that time); and Warren Macdonald, first double above-knee amputee to climb Kilimanjaro.
"Eat like a king at breakfast, a prince at lunch and a pauper at dinner" is an age-old yogi philosophy Flip has adopted. It means putting the best fuel in your tank at the start of each day for optimal performance. As a result, Flip created and released her own range of muesli available in select stores.
Flip loves a physical challenge and has completed four Ironman events - which comprises a 3.8 km swim, 180km bike ride and 42km run. Along the way she has completed several marathons, Round the Bay in a Day (210km cycle), The Alpine Classic (120 kms from Bright to the top of Falls Creek and back) and a number of fun runs.
